I’m a human-first AI engineer by definition: I build systems that serve people. After more than a decade in the nonprofit sector, I’ve learned how to move quickly, think creatively, and engineer cutting-edge solutions with real-world constraints.

Background

My engineering story started early. When I was two years old, my dad recognized that I had an engineer’s mind and made sure I grew up with access to the tools I needed to explore my passions. By 13, I had co-built a successful gaming forum and YouTube channel, and was using assembly language to jailbreak my PS2 games. Ten years later, I contributed to the creation of a podcast network that now has seven shows in the top 1% of podcasts globally.

Focus

Although I took a foray into audio engineering and media production, I never left programming. When AI began to become truly powerful, I was an early adopter and quickly recognized its potential. At Praxis AI, I engineer solutions for human-first AI. I build agentic workflows, create tools and systems that are not yet available anywhere else in the industry, and work directly with customers to understand their needs and turn them into products that align with Praxis AI’s human-first vision.

Twenty-five years leading software engineering teams and as a two-time inventor with patents spanning healthcare, finance, and education, I've dedicated my career to building technologies that solve real human problems. My career spans major technology companies including Siemens, Sybase, and Toolwire, developing scalable, enterprise-grade software solutions across healthcare, finance, and education.

At Praxis AI, I lead the development of Praxis AI's core technology infrastructure, including the patented Learning Experience Platform and patent-pending AI Middleware, ensuring systems maintain both technological excellence and pedagogical efficacy.

A lifelong Bay Area resident and San Jose State University graduate, I bring regional insight and established industry connections to our growth initiatives.

I'm a Computer Science major at Alabama State University with experience as an IT Analyst Intern at HomeFreeUSA and Research Intern at Auburn University — delivering results from 30% accuracy improvements to 25% runtime optimizations. I'm a Headstart AI SWE Fellow, CodePath Fellow, and ASU Presidential Scholar.
